Graduation Weekend!

My sister graduated from Anderson University a few weeks ago with her B.S. Nursing! We are so proud of her. She will make a great nurse and I will be calling her will all of my questions. : ) She had a pinning ceremony on Friday night, which Jason and I just made it on time. And then her official graduation was on Saturday. Congratulations KATIE!!

bubbles, bubbles everywhere...

ok...so you see this all the time in the movies...bubbles spilling out of a washing machine, but out of a toilet?? hmmm, that is something to think about. Well...as we recently found out it is possible! And we couldn't believe it. It made for an interesting Friday night!

What's up with the Soucie's?!

Well, we have been keeping very busy as usual. Over Christmas we travelled to both sides of the family and it was great to see them! Then over New Years the Sr. High and Jr. High Youth had an all night lock-in HCC South Campus, where we have been going over a year now. We made it all night!

Jason's sister and brother-in-law also came to visit over new year's weekend. It was nice to have them come hang out with us for a few days. : )

I also got to see my sister for the first time in 'her' wedding dress! She looked so beautiful! I am so excited for her and David. I get to be the matron of honor and I fell so lucky! The bridesmaid dresses are so pretty too!! : )

January has come...I will be traveling a lot for work in the coming weeks and month. Jason has started another class through Rolla toward is Masters. We are continuing to help out as sponsors with our church's Sr. High and and Jr. High youth.. We love hanging out with them!!! Seeing them grow and learn about God's unconditional love for them is such a blessing.

A few weeks ago we got to visit my sister and "soon to be" brother, in Anderson...

During the first week of September we took a much needed vacation to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park! It was so much fun! We flew to Denver (the first time we had flown together) then drove up to Jackson Hole, WY were we stayed. The condo was really nice : )

We hiked, animal watched...bears, moose, oh my!! No really we saw a bear! And I (Shannon) totally freaked. Jason just thought it was really cool. We got to see Old Faithful and other really cool geysers, mud pots, and hot springs. I loved it, I guess that is the geek in me. Jason liked it too..don't get me wrong, but I think he enjoyed the Tetons and the wild animals much better. : ) We wish we could go back...now it is back to work, unfortunately.

ok well here is an update with us.. : )

we have been very busy with work unfortunately..I (Shannon) have been traveling quite a bit lately leaving Jason to fend for himself. Back to his college days of food choices.

This August will be super busy! Seeing friends and family which we are looking forward to so much.

My sister just got engaged to David, I am going to have a new brother-in-law!! : ) Katie Bell. It has a nice ring to it.

Also we are going to take a much needed vaction to the Tetons and Yellowstone!!

And our 2 year anniversary is coming up! They have gone by so fast, but they have been great!

That is all I can think of for now.
